Tec Skill Pty Ltd trading as Techskill Academy (RTO 45055) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We collect personal information you provide to us when you enquire about a course, enrol, request RPL, contact our support team, subscribe to our newsletter or use our learning platforms.

This may include your full name, date of birth, contact details, USI (Unique Student Identifier), prior qualifications, employment history, payment details, assessment submissions, and any other information you choose to provide.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website — such as device type, browser, IP address, pages visited and referring URL — to operate and improve the site.

We use your information to deliver and administer your training, issue qualifications, comply with our regulatory obligations as a Registered Training Organisation, process payments, respond to your enquiries, and communicate with you about your enrolment.

With your consent, we may also use your information to send you updates about new courses, industry news and offers. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

We are required by law to disclose certain student information to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), state training authorities and other regulators as part of our obligations as an RTO.

We may also share your information with trusted service providers (such as payment processors, IT and email providers) who assist us in operating the Services. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your information is stored on secure servers located in Australia or with reputable cloud providers. We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews.

No method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
