Terms &
Conditions
Last updated 1 June 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Techskill Academy website, courses, services and learning platforms (the “Services”), operated by Tec Skill Pty Ltd trading as Techskill Academy, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45055).
By enrolling in a course, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Enrolment & eligibility
You must provide complete and accurate information when enrolling. Some qualifications carry pre-requisites, work experience requirements or evidence requirements which will be communicated to you prior to enrolment.
Where a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway is offered, credit is granted at the discretion of our trainers and assessors based on the evidence you provide. Submission of evidence does not guarantee a credit outcome.
3. Payments, plans & refunds
Course fees are payable in full or via an approved payment plan prior to commencement, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All amounts are in AUD and include GST where applicable.
Refunds may be requested in writing within fourteen (14) days of enrolment, provided you have not commenced more than 20% of your course. Refunds requested after this period are assessed on a case-by-case basis in line with our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.
Late or missed instalments on a payment plan may result in suspension of access until the account is brought up to date.
4. Course delivery & access
Courses are delivered online and, in some cases, in person. You are responsible for ensuring you have a reliable internet connection and compatible device to complete assessments.
Access to course materials is granted for the duration stated at the time of enrolment. Extensions may be requested in writing and are granted at our discretion.
5. Assessment & student conduct
All assessment work must be your own. Plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating or any other form of academic misconduct may result in withdrawal of credit, suspension or cancellation of enrolment without refund.
You agree to engage respectfully with trainers, assessors and other students at all times. Conduct that is threatening, harassing or discriminatory will result in immediate disciplinary action.
6. Intellectual property
All course content, materials, assessments, branding and software made available through the Services are owned by or licensed to Techskill Academy. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use them for your personal study.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell or publicly display any course materials without our prior written consent.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techskill Academy excludes all liability for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, the law or industry standards. Material changes will be communicated via email or on this page. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
