Queensland's gas fields moved faster than the workforce behind them.
In 2012, the coal seam gas boom was putting billions of dollars of infrastructure into the ground across the Surat and Bowen Basins, and every contractor out there had the same problem: not enough people, and not enough time to find them.
So our founder started a recruitment company. One person, out of the oil and gas industry, putting crews on the ground for gas contractors across both basins.
He also co-founded a well control school in Toowoomba, delivering internationally accredited well control training certified to IADC and IWCF standards, the credentials that let a driller work anywhere in the world. It was the first proof of something that still holds true here: training built by people who have done the work travels further than training built by people who haven't.
The problem showed up quickly. The people were out there, capable, willing, ready to work, but they didn't hold the tickets and qualifications the contracts demanded. Recruiting them wasn't enough. Somebody had to train them too.
So we did both. And the training side of the business turned out to be the part the industry needed most.
We grew the way our students do. One qualification at a time.
From two qualifications to three hundred units.
For the first two years we ran non-accredited training, practical, unglamorous, and exactly what the gas fields needed at the time. In 2014 we became a registered training organisation in our own right, and kept doing the same work with the weight of national accreditation behind it. Still in coal seam gas. Still on the same sites.
Then construction found us. What started as energy-sector training became one of Australia's largest private providers of construction qualifications, and today we hold more than 25 full qualifications and over 300 accredited units on scope, delivered 100% online across construction, safety, leadership and business.
Fourteen years. No acquisitions, no shortcuts. Just the same work, done properly, for a lot more people.
Australian training should be built by Australians.

Our head office is in Brisbane. Our team is spread across the country, close to the industries we serve. Every single person who supports a student, trainers, assessors, advisors, support staff, is employed in Australia. We do not offshore student support, assessment, or anything else that touches a learner's outcome.
At the executive level we carry more than 50 years of combined construction industry experience. The people setting the direction here have run projects, held licences, and managed crews. That is why the training reads like it was written by someone who has done the job. It was.

Fourteen years, one enrolment at a time.
The first year we trained 40 people. Most of them were crews headed for gas fields, and none of them cared what our brand looked like, they cared whether the ticket was real and whether it arrived on time.

We are also the only registered training organisation in Australia with a dedicated licensing brand inside its group. National Licensing sits alongside us, which means we don't hand you a certificate and wish you luck, we take you through the licence application itself, under one roof, until the licence is issued.
